Stopping Mega-dairies: the Cases
The Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment has led a successful
six-year effort to get Valley counties to first study, and then
eliminate, reduce or mitigate the environmental damage done by
mega-dairies. Our efforts began in 1998 in Kern County, and have
since then involved litigation in Fresno, Kings, Madera, Sacramento
and Tulare Counties.
