| Richard Hoegh attended public schools in Selma, California. Richard graduated from UC Berkeley in 1942, and went immediately into the Army. Hoegh returned to the States in December 1945, went to Harvard Law School and after graduating spent the next fifty years as a trial lawyer in Los Angeles and Southern California. He currently resides in Frazier Park, a California mountain community. There, Hoegh is involved in groups to improve quality of life in the mountains: Mountain Community Coalition Against Alcohol and Substance Abuse, The Sierra Club, Program Chair for Rotary Club, Member of High School Site Council, Board Member Mountain Shakespeare Festival, and member of School Construction Oversight Committee. He serves as Community Reporter on Education for the newspaper, The Mountain Enterprise. |
